Job Title: PRN Caregiver
Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: Every Other Weekend or As Needed

Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable PRN Caregiver to join our team for the overnight shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) every other weekend. The ideal candidate is attentive, patient, and committed to providing high-quality care while ensuring the safety, comfort, and dignity of our residents during nighttime hours.
This role is essential in maintaining a calm, secure, and supportive environment while residents rest.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including toileting, incontinence care, repositioning, and mobility support
- Conduct routine safety checks and wellness rounds throughout the night
- Respond promptly to call lights, alarms, and resident needs
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns to the nurse or supervisor
- Assist with medication reminders (if permitted by state regulations and training)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment
- Support morning wake-up routines as needed at the end of shift
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold residents’ rights at all times
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Caregiving experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care preferred
- CNA certification preferred if no experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable demeanor
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and transfer residents according to facility policy
- Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
