Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate PRN Cook to join our culinary team at Pomerelle Place!

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals for our guests, ensuring an exceptional dining experience, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. As a PRN Chef, you will work on an as-needed basis, providing flexibility to assist during peak times, special events, or staff shortages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
• Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are followed in the kitchen.
• Assist with menu planning and development to enhance the dining experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and presentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Ensure proper storage and management of food products to minimize waste.
• Stay current with culinary trends and techniques to contribute to menu innovation.
• Assist in training and mentoring kitchen staff when necessary.
• Adapt menu items and techniques to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of [2-3] years of culinary experience in a restaurant, hotel, or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Creative and enthusiastic about cooking and culinary arts.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25-50 pounds, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
