We're a small, 25-bed assisted living community nestled in beautiful Historic Havelock, right next door to the senior center. We provide personalized care in a cozy, home-like environment where our residents are encouraged to maintain their independence while receiving the support they need.

We're looking for compassionate, dependable, and enthusiastic caregivers, CNAs, and 40-Hour Medication Aides to join our PRN (as-needed) team!

We offer flexible scheduling that allows you to choose available shifts that fit your lifestyle while helping us provide dependable care for our residents.

Minimum PRN Commitment:

• Work at least 16 hours per month
• Work a total of 8 weekend hours per month, including Saturday and Sunday availability
• Pick up additional available shifts when your schedule allows
• Honor the shifts you commit to working

Flexibility is a perk, but dependability is a must! Once you commit to a shift, our residents and your teammates are counting on you.

What You'll Do

At Havelock Manor, caregiving is about more than completing a checklist. It's about making someone's day a little brighter, helping them feel comfortable, and treating them with the dignity and respect they deserve.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing compassionate, personalized assistance with daily living activities, including dressing, toileting, repositioning, and personal care
• Responding promptly to resident needs and call lights
• Assisting with meal preparation, setup, and service
• Helping residents maintain their independence while ensuring their safety and comfort
• Performing light housekeeping duties, including laundry and cleaning
• Creating positive, meaningful interactions with residents
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
• Communicating effectively with coworkers and contributing to a supportive team atmosphere
• Administering medications safely and accurately, if appropriately certified and assigned to medication aide duties

What We're Looking For

You don't have to know everything on day one, but you do need to bring the right attitude!

Our ideal team member is kind, reliable, hardworking, attentive, and willing to jump in wherever help is needed.

Position Requirements:

• Current CNA certification, 40-Hour Medication Aide certification, or previous caregiving experience preferred
• Willingness to learn — we'll train the right candidate!
• Ability to pass required background checks
• Friendly, positive, and professional demeanor
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Willingness to work scheduled shifts and meet PRN availability requirements
• Ability to safely lift at least 50 pounds
• Commitment to providing quality, resident-centered care

Pay & Perks

Starting Pay: $17.00+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Shift Differentials: Earn an additional $1-2 per hour for qualifying evening, overnight, and weekend shifts!
