    Chaplain (PRN, On-Call) – Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center 

     

    Role Overview:

    Join our team as a PRN professional, where your flexibility and quick thinking will make a real difference in a fast-paced hospital environment. You’ll play a vital role in triaging and prioritizing diverse patient needs, responding swiftly to consults and other urgent situations. Your ability to navigate complex scenarios and support the healthcare team with meticulous record keeping and collaboration will be key to delivering exceptional patient care.     Position Details:

    • Non-benefited, PRN (as-needed), on-call role
    • Location: Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center - Charlotte, NC
    • Candidates/applicants must live within a 30-minute response time to all facilities in the Charlotte Region
    • Must have 4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education and a Master's of Divinity or graduate theological degree ordination
    • Requires availability on nights, weekends, and holidays

     

    What We're Looking For: 

    • Education: Graduate Degree, required. Master's of Divinity or graduate theological degree ordination or equivalent and endorsement by denominations or faith groups endorsing body. Completion of four units of CPE from a nationally accredited body.
    • Experience: Minimum of two years Spiritual Care experience in a healthcare setting, preferred. Roles requiring communication across disciplines, preferred.
    • Licensure/Certification: Eligible for certification by APC, CPSP, or other equivalent national certifying body, required. Board certification completed within 3 years of hire date, required.
