ArchWell Health is seeking a PRN cardiologist for its Milwaukee Market. The PRN Cardiologist should be a dynamic and flexible individual who is licensed/board certified with experience in noninvasive cardiology and adult echocardiography. This professional will play a key role in providing accurate and high-quality interpretation of echocardiograms.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provides excellent cardiovascular care in a remote, outpatient setting
- Perform accurate interpretation of lab tests echocardiograms.
- Participates in quality improvement sessions for echocardiography (quarterly)
- Communicates results of echocardiograms if needed with primary care providers in a timely manner
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Exceptional communication skills to facilitate patient care including ability to foster and cultivate relationships with primary care physicians, center care team members, and staff
- Extensive knowledge of cardiovascular disease and evidence-based practices and procedures
- Well-versed in echocardiography guidelines, standards and practices as dictated by the American Society of Echocardiography
- Personable, tactful, and professional demeanor
- Comfortable with electronic medical record charting as well as teleconferencing including telehealth patient encounters
- Ability to work remotely full-time in a HIPAA-compliant setting
Education and Experience:
- MD or DO in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease
- Board Certified in Adult Echocardiography
- Current, unrestricted, active license to practice medicine in Wisconsin
- Current DEA registration
- Proficient PC skills
