About the Role

We are seeking a technology leader to design and develop a Private Equity technology stack supporting fund valuation and oversight of fund net asset values (NAVs). The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in private markets or alternative investments, a strong understanding of fund accounting technology, and robust AWS and data engineering skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of technology solutions for private equity fund valuations, NAV oversight, and related fund accounting workflows.
• Build data pipelines and integrations for structured and unstructured private markets data, including market data and third-party sources.
• Improve reconciliation and exception management through workflow automation and AI-assisted tools.
• Partner with fund accounting, investment, operations, and technology teams to turn business requirements into reliable solutions.
• Design scalable, secure solutions on AWS and work with industry platforms and data providers.

Required Qualifications

• Technology experience within private markets or alternative investments.
• Experience with fund accounting systems, NAV calculations or oversight, and fund valuation processes.
• Strong data engineering and integration skills, including experience working with unstructured data.
• Robust, hands-on AWS experience.
• Ability to lead solution design and work closely with business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Canoe or MSCI solutions.
• Experience with AI-assisted reconciliation, exception handling, or workflow automation.
• An established network of contacts across the private markets technology industry.
