    Compensation

    $260,000 – $390,000+

    A premier national law firm is seeking a Private Equity & Mergers & Acquisitions Associate Attorney to join its Dallas office.

    This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, independent sponsors, and strategic buyers in sophisticated middle-market and upper-middle-market transactions.

    Ideal Background

    5–7 years of private equity, mergers & acquisitions, or corporate transactional experience gained at a sophisticated law firm

    • Experience representing private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, strategic buyers, sellers, and independent sponsors

    • Experience leading acquisitions, dispositions, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, growth equity investments, and other strategic transactions

    • Experience drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, merger agreements, equity investment documents, disclosure schedules, and related transaction documentation

    • Experience managing transaction teams, coordinating due diligence, and overseeing deal execution from letter of intent through closing

    • Experience advising clients regarding general corporate governance, entity formation, and ongoing corporate matters

    • Experience with healthcare transactions, sponsor-backed acquisitions, or middle-market private equity deals is preferred

    • Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and communication skills

    • Ability to independently manage sophisticated transactions while maintaining significant client interaction

    • Excellent academic credentials

    J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

    Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted
