$200–$500/hour or transaction-based earnings, depending on scope, deal size, and mentoring/advisory engagement
Initio Sphere is a private capital ecosystem where capital meets talent. We connect fund managers, investors, operators, and analysts through real deal flow, institutional frameworks, and curated relationships.
Private Equity Mentors are a senior tier of the ecosystem—providing strategic guidance, deal insight, and mentorship to sponsors, funds, and analysts while benefiting from earning opportunities and enhanced credibility across our network.
Initio Sphere is onboarding Private Equity Mentors to provide strategic, operational, and deal-focused guidance to fund managers, investors, and deal sponsors.
This is not a traditional employment role. Mentors operate as independent contractors, activated through a verification and approval process.
Once approved, Mentors:
Advise on fund formation, capital raising, deal structuring, and portfolio strategy
Mentor analysts and deal scouts, enhancing internal capacity and expertise
Access curated deal flow and transaction-based earning opportunities
Build a verified Mentor Track Record within the ecosystem
This role is ideal for experienced private equity professionals, ex-investment bankers, fund managers, or senior consultants with a proven record of closing transactions or leading investment initiatives.
Approved Mentors may:
Advise fund managers on capital strategy, LP engagement, and fundraising positioning
Support deal sponsors with structuring, diligence oversight, and negotiation strategy
Mentor analysts and deal scouts on financial modeling, diligence, and transaction execution
Provide portfolio advisory services, operational insights, and value creation guidance
Participate in curated introductions with institutional investors or co-investors
Mentors focus on high-level strategic guidance and transaction mentorship. They do not manage day-to-day modeling or execution unless explicitly approved.

Mentorship and technical training for analysts and scouts
