Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Specialized Home Care
Our client is an active, pleasant 46-year-old woman living with paraplegia resulting from a Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA). She is highly engaged in her own recovery and is looking for a nursing partner to assist with her care.
Responsibilities
While the Aide manages general care, the Nurse is responsible for the following clinical interventions:
- Bowel Program: Lead and facilitate the routine bowel care management program.
- Mitrofanoff Catheter Care: Perform catheter management (intermittent or indwelling) ensuring strict adherence to infection control protocols.
Shift Times
- Schedule: Monday through Friday (M–F).
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 10:30 AM.
- Setting: Private residence in Grand Rapids, MI.
- Team Environment: You will work in tandem with a Home Health Aide who handles heavy lifting, bathing, and other ADLs.
Schedule & Pay
- Hourly Pay Range: $30 - $45/hr
- Weekly pay + optional daily pay
- Competitive pay based on experience

Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN license in the state of Michigan
- Home care or private duty experience preferred (not required)
- Trach/vent experience a plus (training provided)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills

- Adults with complex medical needs
