Overview A law firm seeks a Senior Associate or Counsel to join its Private Clients, Trusts & Estates group in Chicago, IL. The role involves working with two partners on high-volume practices, managing significant multi-line and multi-generational client matters, and advising family offices on sophisticated planning strategies.Responsibilities Manage client projects from inception to conclusion, including task list preparation and timeline management.Lead teams to project completion and adapt plans as needed based on new information.Advise on lifetime and testamentary planning strategies and supervise tax implication research.Prepare client educational materials and communicate directly with clients to advance their goals.Requirements Licensed and in good standing in Illinois.Strong academic record and professional skills.Experience managing client projects and supervising younger attorneys.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Detail-oriented with the ability to meet client deadlines on short notice.Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree.Certifications Licensed to practice law in Illinois.Skills Project management and leadership skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to develop and maintain client relationships.Benefits Flexible work arrangements, including remote days and flexible schedules.Opportunities for business development and building a client network.#J-18808-Ljbffr
