The Culinistas is a platform that matches private chefs with households & hosts for culinary services.
We believe that cooking can and should be a comfortable career. We offer private chef opportunities that fit your schedule and needs, including weekly meal preps, in-home gatherings, seasonal placements plus access to part and full time roles.
The most successful chefs on our platform were trained in culinary school and/or restaurant kitchens, have a combination of fine dining and private chef experience, have at least three years of professional kitchen experience, and are comfortable cooking in high-net worth households.
What We Looks For
- Professionalism, creativity, and confidence. We look for chefs who balance technical skill with a calm, can-do attitude and a passion for hospitality.
- Accredited kitchen experience and/or strong private chef backgrounds. Candidates should be comfortable operating solo, making decisions on the fly, and tailoring their approach to different client needs.
- Clear, proactive communication. We value chefs who are responsive, detail-oriented, and respectful throughout the interview process—and beyond.
- Genuine enthusiasm for The Culinistas. The best candidates are excited about our mission and see this work as a platform for meaningful, elevated cooking in clients’ homes.
- Pride in their craft. We love working with chefs who care deeply about every detail—from ingredient sourcing to presentation—and who bring inspiration and intentionality to the table.
