Responsibilities
- Assist in the binding and finishing of printed materials, including cutting, folding, and assembling.
- Operate various bindery equipment under the supervision of experienced staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on bindery equipment as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a printshop or bindery environment is a plus, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn about bindery equipment.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
