    As a Print Production Supervisor, you will oversee a team of client relations specialists responsible for delivering high-quality print production, document services, and client support across one or more client sites. This role combines hands-on knowledge of print/reprographics operations with team leadership and client relationship management.


    The Print Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring print requests and projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and within required turnaround times while maintaining strong communication with clients. This position will provide day-to-day guidance to a team of three employees, manage workflow and service levels, address client and operational escalations, and support continuous improvement of print and workplace service operations.


    This role reports to the Client Relations Manager or Client Relations Director.

    This is a 13-month fixed-term position providing support for an employee on leave. The estimated dates of the assignment are November 1, 2026 through December 15, 2027.


    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Supervise and lead a team of three employees across one or more client sites.
    • Oversee daily print production, reprographics, and document production workflows.
    • Coordinate and prioritize print requests, including high-volume and time-sensitive projects.
    • Ensure print projects are completed accurately, on time, and according to client specifications.
    • Monitor print quality, turnaround times, workflow, and overall service delivery.
    • Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, training, and performance support to team members.
    • Troubleshoot print production, workflow, and service issues and coordinate appropriate resolution.
    • Serve as a primary escalation point for client and operational concerns.
    • Maintain strong communication with clients regarding requests, priorities, deadlines, and service delivery.
    • Monitor adherence to SLAs and client expectations.
    • Track and report on team performance, workload, service metrics, and operational KPIs.
    • Support onboarding and training of new and existing employees.
    • Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and workload distribution to maintain adequate coverage and service levels.
    • Ensure proper documentation of client requests, issues, and resolutions.
    • Identify and support process improvements that increase print quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with Client Relations Managers and Directors to support account objectives.
    • Participate in client meetings and operational reviews as needed.
    • Reinforce company policies, procedures, and Opensity Solutions core values.

    Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

    • Strong knowledge of print production, reprographics, and document production workflows.
    • Experience working in a high-volume, deadline-driven print environment.
    • Knowledge of print quality control, job prioritization, and production workflow management.
    • Ability to troubleshoot basic print production, equipment, and workflow issues.
    • Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
    • Ability to coach, train, develop, and motivate employees.
    • Strong client service and relationship management skills.
    • Ability to professionally manage client requests, escalations, and changing priorities.
    • Understanding of service delivery operations, SLAs, and performance metrics.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
    • High attention to detail with a focus on print accuracy, quality, and client specifications.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
    • Ability to collaborate with managers, directors, clients, and cross-functional teams.
    • Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater.
    • Ability to grasp, lift, or carry packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 75 lbs.
    • Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, or sit for extended periods.

    Qualifications

    Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field preferred but not required.


    Experience:

    3–5+ years of experience in print production, reprographics, document services, workplace services, client services, or related operations. Prior supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferred.

    Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience with commercial print production equipment and document production workflows strongly preferred. Familiarity with CRM, workforce management, or service delivery platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, or similar systems is a plus.


    Compensation & Benefits

    The compensation range for this role is $27.00–$30.00 per hour and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will depend on the individual's location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
