Job Summary

This role supports the creation, adaptation, revision, and production of packaging artwork and printed components for a global consumer health portfolio. Partner with Graphics, Regulatory, Legal, Quality, Marketing, and print vendors to ensure packaging is accurate, compliant, print-ready, and aligned with brand standards.

 

Job Description

  • Create, adapt, and revise packaging artwork and printed components, including cartons, labels, blisters, tubes, and Patient Information Leaflets.
  • Update regulatory content such as Drug Facts, Supplement Facts, warnings, expiry dates, and lot codes.
  • Adapt master layouts across different sizes, formats, and configurations while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Build mechanical files according to printer die-lines, including color separations, trapping, bleeds, and technical layers.
  • Generate and verify barcodes, QR codes, and regulatory symbols for scan compliance.
  • Review printer proofs against approved masters for color, text placement, and structural accuracy.
  • Route artwork through approval systems for Regulatory, Legal, and Quality review and sign-off.
  • Maintain digital asset libraries with accurate version control.
  • Work with print vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure files meet production requirements.
  • Ensure packaging files are delivered accurately and on schedule.

 

Skills Required

  • 2–4 years of experience in graphic production.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Strong knowledge of micro-typography and managing dense legal/regulatory copy in limited space.
  • Knowledge of printing processes, including flexography, lithography, and digital printing.
  • Understanding of ink limitations, color management, and pre-press production.
  • Strong retouching and image manipulation skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and process-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in highly regulated environments where accuracy and compliance are critical.
  • Experience in CPG, pharmaceutical, consumer health, or another highly regulated industry preferred.
  • Experience working with artwork approval and asset management systems such as Veeva, Blue, or Workfront preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external print vendors.

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related technical field.
  • Equivalent relevant experience may be considered.

 

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to pass drug screenings and criminal background checks

Pay Rate/Salary

  • Estimated Salary: $34.86 to $42.86 per hour. Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors.
