Job Description: GPS has a client looking for a strong candidate for a full-time Print Designer / Print Production Operator in their printshop dept, and given their growth in printing services, they need someone who can hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign) for design and file preparation
- Fix supplied files and impose multi-up layouts for print production
- Operate digital production equipment including Digital Toner Presses, Digital Ink-Jet Presses, and Digital Cutters
- Perform light bindery and finishing work
- Provide customer service via in-person interactions, email, and phone
- Multitask effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Qualifications:
- Understanding with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign required)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to read and interpret policies and procedures (ISO-certified environment)
- Strong attention to detail and overall sense of quality
- Comfortable operating light and large-format production machinery
- Comfortable with basic math.
