Description

Location: Onsite in Summit NJ, 2-3x a weekType: Ongoing ContractCompensation Range: $45-$50/hr W2We are seeking a Print Production Manager to bridge design, prepress agencies, and print suppliers, ensuring creative intent and global brand standards are accurately translated into final printed materials. The role oversees print quality, color standards, production guidelines, and vendor execution from artwork development through completion. Responsibilities:Work with global printers and packaging sites to obtain specifications, and provide the Brand Design team with relevant site requirements to create a feasible design intent.Interface with the Brand Design team to communicate concerns regarding design intent in relation to printer capabilities, and attend Design Brief and Design Concept Reviews as needed.Partner with Packaging Engineering to understand structures and die lines to provide required information.Host and document pre-production meetings between third-party prepress suppliers and printers.Evaluate the best way to validate graphic files (via proofing or trials), plan/execute print trials, and travel to printer locations to supervise trials and first production runs as needed to optimize design intents.Review and approve production proofs, collaborating with the Brand Design team as necessary.Determine spectral values for specified colors, create Brand Color Specifications including relevant spectral data, and obtain, approve, and distribute color standards internally and externally.Utilize internal systems to track project workload, scope, and time spent within required timeframes, submitting required metrics and project lists.Maintain a filing system of all production elements related to each brand, providing required documentation and reporting.Complete all trainings on time per schedule.Ensure continuous improvement and optimal production solutions for new artwork designs and existing components. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and/or 5-7 years experience in publishing, print, or project management, preferably in a Consumer Healthcare or Pharmaceutical environment.Deep knowledge of all printing and prepress processes, with demonstrated leadership in a PrePress, Print, or Project Management environment.Understand and have the ability to resolve complex production problems creatively in a timely, fast-paced environment.Ability to multi-task while working on multiple projects with conflicting deadlines.Excellent communication and negotiating skills.Commitment to continuous process improvement initiatives.Highly motivated with a high level of initiative; inspires confidence to work independently and in support of department goals and business objectives.Ability to build relationships and work across a multi-product line organization.Strong computer skills in MAC platform a must (Adobe Creative Suite, Acrobat Professional, MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint).Driver's Licence required. JOBID: JN -092026-146740#LI-CELLA#LI-MN1#PLEqual Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.At Cella, a randstad digital company, we welcome people of all abilities and want to ensure that our hiring and interview process meets the needs of all applicants.
