Principal Test Engineer - RF & Microwave R&D

Job Description:

Setup, calibration and operation of microwave and millimeter-wave test systems in an IC design R&D environment. Equipment purchase, maintenance, calibration and laboratory management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Plan the efficient use of the measurement laboratory and equipment.
• Liaise with and advise design & product engineers on test plans.
• Set up and calibrate measurement systems for R&D testing.
• Assist with making measurements and processing test data.
• Assist with IC design troubleshooting.
• Manage annual equipment calibration schedules.
• Research and recommend new test equipment purchases.
