    Description

Amazon Quick is redefining how people work. It combines agentic AI, intelligent automation, and enterprise collaboration into a single productivity platform. Quick is the first enterprise SaaS product AWS has built that competes directly across multiple market segments - enterprise productivity, data and analytics solutions, AI native solutions. That places it in many commercial motions AWS has never run before especially for a managed AI service: seat-based subscription pricing, tiered discounts, promotional mechanics, private deals, and a channel ecosystem spanning direct sellers, account teams, GSIs, resellers, and ISV partners who are themselves built on AWS.

We are at an inflection point. Quick has early enterprise traction, strong product velocity, and a pricing and billing infrastructure that must scale with it. The person in this role owns that infrastructure - not just as a compliance function, but as a growth lever.

You will own the full commercial engine for Quick: pricing architecture, consumption-based billing models, private pricing strategy, promotional and discount frameworks, and deal enablement across a complex multi-party go-to-market. You will partner directly with AWS Billing IT and Ops teams, deals desks, strategic contracting teams and finance to build automated systems that accelerate the deal cycle and reduce operational friction. You will also partner with other product leaders across agentic AI services to develop common pricing frameworks.

    Key job responsibilities

Own Quick"s pricing and billing roadmap: list pricing, volume discounts, promotional mechanics, and private pricing constructs (EDP integrations, custom commit deals, partner-tier structures).

Partner with AWS Billing IT to build scalable pricing models operationalized across sales, partner, and GTM motions.

Serve as Quick"s Deals Desk subject matter expert. Act as service-level approver for private deals and author 5Q/PRFAQ artifacts for new pricing capabilities.

Design Quick"s AI consumption billing model: metering units (tokens, credits, actions), rate structures, and overage mechanics.

Build and ship automated billing workflows from deal intake through entitlement provisioning to invoice generation, with AWS BillGeneration and Billing Product teams.

Define partner pricing tiers, discount frameworks, and margin guardrails across Quick"s channel: direct sellers, account teams, GSIs, resellers, and ISV partners.

Build pricing constructs that handle multi-year committed spend and flexible consumption as enterprises hedge across model families, silicon providers, and managed services.

Extend pricing innovations from Quick to other AWS AI services.

Write business narratives, competitive pricing analyses, and P&L models for AWS senior leadership.

Define success metrics, instrument billing features, and iterate pricing strategy from observed customer behavior.

    A day in the life

You start the morning reviewing the deal queue - a mix of new private pricing requests and deals approaching approval deadlines. You review strategy paper on a EDP deal that bundles Quick with some AWS services. Mid-morning, you"re in a working session with AWS Billing engineering, reviewing the metering spec for Quick"s token-credit abstraction layer. After lunch, you write the PRFAQ for a new promotional construct targeting ISV partners which is to be reviewed by AWS VP+ audience in a week. You close the day in a deep dive with finance, modeling three scenarios for Quick"s FY28 cost structures

    About the team

The Amazon Quick product team sits inside AWS and owns the full product lifecycle - from roadmap to GTM to commercial strategy. We work at the intersection of enterprise software, agentic AI, and AWS infrastructure economics. This is a small, high-caliber team with direct access to AWS senior leadership and a mandate to move fast. Billing and pricing is a first-class product discipline on this team, not a finance handoff.

    About Company

At Amazon, we don’t wait for the next big idea to present itself. We envision the shape of impossible things and then we boldly make them reality. So far, this mindset has helped us achieve some incredible things. Let’s build new systems, challenge the status quo, and design the world we want to live in. We believe the work you do here will be the best work of your life.

Wherever you are in your career exploration, Amazon likely has an opportunity for you. Our research scientists and engineers shape the future of natural language understanding with Alexa. Fulfillment center associates around the globe send customer orders from our warehouses to doorsteps. Product managers set feature requirements, strategy, and marketing messages for brand new customer experiences. And as we grow, we’ll add jobs that haven’t been invented yet.

    It’s Always Day 1
At Amazon, it’s always “Day 1.” Now, what does this mean and why does it matter? It means that our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon’s very first day – to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and stay focused on delighting our customers. In our 2016 shareholder letter, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos shared his thoughts on how to keep up a Day 1 company mindset. “Staying in Day 1 requires you to experiment patiently, accept failures, plant seeds, protect saplings, and double down when you see customer delight,” he wrote. “A customer-obsessed culture best creates the conditions where all of that can happen.” You can read the full letter here

    Our Leadership Principles
Our Leadership Principles help us keep a Day 1 mentality. They aren’t just a pretty inspirational wall hanging. Amazonians use them, every day, whether they’re discussing ideas for new projects, deciding on the best solution for a customer’s problem, or interviewing candidates.
