Description

As a Principal Systems Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of complex systems and solutions that drive innovation, safety, and efficiency in the aerospace industry. You will work within cross-functional teams on cutting-edge projects that transform the way aircraft operate. Your experience in systems engineering will be instrumental in shaping the future of aerospace technology.

You will report directly to our Director of Engineering, working out of Redmond, WA location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the development and delivery of cutting-edge solutions that support Honeywell's aerospace initiatives, helping to drive innovation and maintain our leadership in the industry.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelors or Masters in Electric/Electronics/Computers/Aerospace Engineering.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience working in various application areas supporting Avionics functions, Navigation and Airborne Surveillance (TCAS, Transponder, ADS-B, DME, UAT).
  • Adept in systems integration of complex systems, systems test procedures and reviews.
  • Ability to manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies effectively

The annual base salary range for this position is $190,000-213,500 . Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. The first autopilot in 1914, Charles Lindbergh’s first successful solo flight across the Atlantic in 1927, Amelia Earhart’s landmark flight in 1932, and the world’s first sonic boom in 1947, were all made possible because of aviation technology developed by Honeywell and its legacy companies.
