Principal Systems Engineer

Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking a Principal Systems Engineer for a defense and munitions manufacturer which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in systems infrastructure engineering and integration looking to further their career in defense technology.

•      Own systems infrastructure engineering, implementation, integration, and technical support.

•      Design, install, maintain, and administer infrastructure hardware, software, and configurations.

•      Monitor performance, tune proactively, and perform root cause analysis on failed components with corrective actions.

•      Lead projects and process improvements, participate in disaster recovery exercises, and guide others on complex problems; up to 25% travel.

Essential Qualifications

•      8-10 years of systems engineering experience, including infrastructure design, implementation, and integration.

•      Engineering degree (Associate's minimum) and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Bonus Qualifications

•      Bachelor's degree in engineering.

•      Strong technical expertise with analytical and problem-solving skills.
