BlueWave is hiring a Principal Steam Turbine Engineer for a utilities and power generation client with headquarters in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. As a Principal Steam Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Job Description:- Act as the lead engineer/subject matter expert for managing steam turbine fleet assets
- Help with troubleshooting efforts of assets and equipment in fleet
- Lead RCA to provide suggestions on how to fix or improve assets
- Lead outage planning and support efforts
- Partner closely with OEMs to resolve complex technical issues
- Support young engineers on the team
- Travel to sites periodically, up to 30% a year maximum
- Good communication skills and presentation skills are a must
Requirements:- Bachelors Degree in Engineering
- 8-10+ years of experience in engineering
- Must have hands-on steam turbine experience
