Qualifications:

  • 15 or more years of progressive experience in solutions architecture, technology advisory, or technical leadership roles, with a demonstrated track record of designing and delivering complex, high-stakes infrastructure solutions.
  • Deep, practitioner-level expertise in Cisco networking and data center architecture - including Catalyst, Nexus, ACI, UCS, and Cisco security fabric - with the ability to leverage that foundation in designing the network fabric underpinning AI Factory environments.
  • Hands-on fluency with the NVIDIA accelerated computing ecosystem, including GPU platform selection and sizing, NVAIE software licensing, Mission Control, NIM microservices, Dynamo inference infrastructure, Run:ai workload management, and NCP reference architectures.
  • Working expertise with AMD Instinct accelerated compute platforms and the ability to provide vendor-objective workload economics analysis across NVIDIA and AMD solutions.
  • Deep understanding of AI Factory design patterns: high-performance compute clusters, InfiniBand and RoCE networking, parallel file systems and NVMe-oF storage, and power and cooling infrastructure considerations for GPU-dense deployments.
  • Ability to architect and align with HPA team resources across the full virtualization and containerization stack: VMware VCF, DGX OS, Red Hat OpenShift AI, and Kubernetes-native environments.
  • Substantive experience with AI workload management and MLOps tooling - scheduling, resource governance, experiment tracking, and model lifecycle management across on-premises and hybrid AI environments.
  • Business Acumen & Communication
  • Demonstrated ability to connect technology architecture to business outcomes - quantifying value, communicating risk, and influencing investment decisions at the executive level.
  • Experience engaging C-suite and senior business stakeholders, with the communication discipline to speak to both the technical and financial dimensions of major infrastructure investments.
  • Strong instinct for business model analysis: understanding how AI Factory investments affect an organization's cost structure, competitive position, operational capacity, and risk profile.
  • Track record of driving business development through technical credibility - generating pipeline, advancing strategic accounts, and serving as a differentiating voice in competitive situations.
  • Leadership & Thought Leadership
  • Recognized internally and externally as a subject matter authority, with evidence of intellectual contributions: publications, speaking engagements, reference architectures, or other IP that has shaped customer or industry thinking.
  • Ability to mentor and elevate the architects around you - translating your own expertise into frameworks, patterns, and habits that make the broader team more capable.
  • Strong organizational, program management, and stakeholder alignment skills, with the ability to lead complex multi-party architecture engagements from scoping through delivery.
  • Collaborative working style that naturally bridges across WWT practices - AI, security, networking, storage, professional services, and partner management - to bring the best of WWT to every customer engagement.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • CCIE, NVIDIA certification (NCP, DCA, or equivalent), or other advanced practitioner credentials in relevant domains.
  • Experience in regulated or federal markets with working knowledge of NIST, FedRAMP, CMMC, or equivalent frameworks as applied to AI and HPC environments.
  • Familiarity with facilities-level AI infrastructure considerations: power density, liquid cooling, rack architecture, and data center readiness for GPU-dense deployments.
  • Python scripting experience in the context of infrastructure automation, MLOps pipeline development, or AI workload management.
  • Experience contributing to or presenting at major industry forums: GTC, Cisco Live, NVIDIA AI Summit, SC (Supercomputing), or equivalent events.
