About the Role:
Innovative Tech Solutions Inc is looking for a talented and driven Principal Software Engineer to join our growing team in Woodlawn, MD. Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable, high-performance software systems and applications
• Drive full software development lifecycle (SDLC) from requirements gathering through deployment and maintenance
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers across the team
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver solutions
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality, security, and adherence to best practices
• Identify and resolve complex technical challenges, performance bottlenecks, and system vulnerabilities
• Evaluate and champion adoption of emerging technologies, frameworks, and engineering methodologies

Requirements:

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with a proven track record of delivering complex systems
• Deep expertise in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or similar
• Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), microservices, and distributed systems
• Experience leading technical teams and driving architectural decisions at an enterprise level
• Proficiency with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred
