As a Principal Core Infrastructure Engineer in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's Data Core organization, you will help build a greenfield DPU-accelerated platform for high-performance networking and storage data paths. You will shape its early architecture, develop foundational software, and take components from prototype to production. Working across hardware, firmware interfaces, Linux, and cloud services, you will improve throughput, latency, reliability, and scale.
This is a hands-on role for an engineer with deep experience in networking or storage data paths. You will use measurements to find bottlenecks, evaluate tradeoffs, and turn sound designs into dependable software. You will lead complex technical projects, establish engineering practices for the new platform, and provide direction and mentorship to other engineers. We also value familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and good judgment about where they improve engineering work.
