Position Summary...

The Principal Software Engineer leads the design and delivery of scalable platform capabilities, driving technical excellence across multiple teams. About the team:

The Contact Center Engineering team develops and maintains platforms that enable seamless customer support experiences. They design scalable voice, chat, and routing workflows, manage the NICE InContact platform, and provide scripting and support to ensure reliable interactions. By integrating enterprise systems and optimizing automation and agent workflows, the team enhances operational performance and service quality at scale. Their technical expertise and collaboration drive consistent communication across the contact center ecosystem, supporting high-quality service delivery and continuous improvement aligned with business goals.

What you'll do...

  • Lead platform engineering efforts by delivering scalable infrastructure, reusable tooling, and AI/ML frameworks aligned with strategic roadmaps.
  • Drive full software development lifecycle across multiple teams, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and real-time data processing.
  • Architect and integrate intelligent AI-enhanced applications using cloud-native principles and model-driven design.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship, influencing architectural decisions and promoting engineering excellence.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements and measurable success metrics.
  • Champion continuous improvement by adopting new technologies and optimizing processes for quality and efficiency.

What you'll bring:

  • Extensive experience in platform engineering leadership, delivering scalable and reliable infrastructure and tooling.
  • Proficiency in cloud-native architecture and distributed system design ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
  • Strong expertise in AI/ML integration, building intelligent software systems using languages such as Python, Java, and C++.
  • Proven ability to lead full software development lifecycle including CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and incident response.
  • Skilled in applying model-driven design and leveraging modern development tools to enhance velocity and quality.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership, mentorship, and strategic guidance across engineering teams.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional stakeholders to define and deliver technical solutions.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
