The Role
Your Impact
• Primarily focus on designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting DMC3/GDOT products. • Analyze customer requirements and translate them into product features and use cases. • Deliver innovative solutions to enhance our products, ensuring they provide better value for our customers with a focus on simplicity in deployment and maintenance. • Secure application design to ensure products adhere to modern software security and access-control standards. • Leverage AI-assisted development tools for coding, troubleshooting, refactoring, and generating unit tests to improve efficiency and code quality. • Collaborate with other teams to identify synergies among AspenTech's extensive range of products. • Work collaboratively with the extended team in Product Management, Customer Support, and Quality Assurance to ensure a successful product release and seamless customer adoption.
What Youll Need
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fields with 10+ years of working experience. • Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable web applications across the full software development lifecycle. • Proficiency with Microsoft web application technologies, including ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, ASP.NET Web Forms, and Classic ASP. • Knowledge of software security principles, including authentication, authorization, and access-control models. • Experience writing SQL queries and managing data using SQL. • Familiarity with unit testing frameworks. • Experience with third-party UI controls or frameworks such Angular, React, or DevExpress is a plus. • Experience using AI-assisted development tools for coding, troubleshooting, refactoring, and generating unit tests. • Strong problem-solving skills. • Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, and presentation abilities. • Demonstrated ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. • Experience in software project management is a plus. #LI-WJ1
