About the Role

MiniMed is seeking an analytically driven Principal Sales Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be at the intersection of data and strategy - building forecasting models, developing reporting tools, and delivering insights that directly shape how MiniMed''s sales and clinical teams perform. You will partner with cross functional teams and senior leadership to identify trends, optimize processes, and support data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Develops and maintains forecasting models based on sales data, plus other internal and external data

  • Works to continually assess the effectiveness of the sales and clinical teams as well as support cross-functional partners (i.e. Marketing, Health Plan Solutions) and proposes creative solutions to address complex business challenges

  • Develop and implement strategies for process optimization and standardization

  • Conduct data analysis and develop reporting tools to identify business trends and report performance results across sales channels, product lines, payer groups, etc.

  • Review department metrics with leadership team to help ensure consistent performance, high level of productivity, and achievement of business goals for the Commercial Organization

  • Identify and track data necessary to develop and refine business forecasting and product utilization models and as well as to develop predictive sales and productivity analytics

  • Design, produce and maintain various reports and data base systems for department management as requested

  • Work closely with stakeholders to define project goals, KPIs, and deliverables

  • Simultaneously manage multiple project/work assignments and analytical duties

  • Use statistical tools and data analysis to monitor performance and support decision-making

  • Learn and develop proficiency with Salesforce, Centricity and/or other programs used by the Commercial Team

  • Collaborates cross-functionally to ensure optimal sales execution and attainment of growth objectives

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of Sales, Marketing, and/or Project Management experience

OR

Advance degree with 5+ Years Sales, Marketing, and/or Project Management experience.

Nice to Have

  • SQL experience

  • Tableau and PowerBI Experience

  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, or higher)

  • Data Modeling and Forecasting Experience

  • 10+ years in a Business Analytics role, preferably Sales Operations or Sales Finance

  • 10+ Years working knowledge in analytics

  • Advanced technical skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc.)

  • MBA or advanced degree

  • Prior Medical Device or Pharma industry experience

  • Experience presenting data to leadership/executive level

  • Excellent attention to detail

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$104,000.00 - $156,000.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Short Term Incentive (STI).
