WHAT YOU'LL DO
Keep Projects Moving
Manage day-to-day project timelines, task tracking, and creative workflows using Workfront, Asana, and Notion ensuring deliverables stay on schedule from brief through final delivery.
Run an Agile Operating Cadence
AWS operates on an agile model - daily standups and other agile ceremonies are a standing expectation. You'll run or participate in sprint ceremonies, manage backlogs, and adapt scope in short, iterative cycles depending on your workstream (e.g., two-day turnarounds for embedded/quick-turn work, two-week sprints for always-on support).
Drive Clear, Two-Way Communication
Own the cadence of project updates and delivery forecasts. This role requires both strong client-facing communication (representing the engagement professionally to AWS stakeholders, under the New Engen brand) and strong internal communication (keeping creative, strategy, and cross-functional teammates aligned on priorities, timelines, and next steps).
Support Creative & Event Delivery
Coordinate creative assignments across the full project lifecycle. Depending on workstream, this may include coordinating global event delivery across time zones (GMT, EST, APJ), managing tight SLAs and late-breaking content, or supporting on-site production logistics (e.g., re:Invent).
Own Budget & Reporting
Monitor pod budget and monthly burn-rate reporting; track scope and spend through the PO IDP campaign work-order structure, flagging when net-new work requires an amended work order.
Stay One Step Ahead
Maintain accurate project trackers, monitor timelines, identify potential risks early, and proactively communicate issues before they impact delivery. Own escalation handling for your pod.
Collaborate Across Teams
Partner with creatives, strategists, and clients to keep everyone aligned on project status, expectations, deliverables, and priorities across a large, cross-functional team.
Embrace Smarter Ways of Working
Support the implementation of AI-powered workflows, automation, and operational improvements that help teams work more efficiently.
Solve Problems Every Day
Remove day-to-day project roadblocks, escalate larger issues when needed, and help keep momentum across multiple deliverables and deadlines.
Grow Your Craft
Work closely with the Senior/Director PM to strengthen your project management skills, complete AWS-specific onboarding (badging, Workfront training), and continue building your operational expertise.
