Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Principal Project Management Consultant to lead complex, enterprise-wide projects and strategic IT transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale programs, budgets, cross-functional teams, vendors, and executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex enterprise programs and strategic IT transformation initiatives.
• Manage project budgets, financial forecasts, schedules, resources, scope, and deliverables.
• Oversee multiple project workstreams and coordinate cross-functional business and IT teams.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
• Establish and maintain project governance, reporting, and executive communication.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC methodologies, organizational processes, and project management standards.
• Lead change management, communication, and training activities.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, performance, and invoices.
• Align project objectives with business strategies and IT priorities.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to project teams.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in project/program management and lifecycle methodologies.
• 5+ years managing large, complex corporate projects.
• 5+ years of experience leading project teams.
• 10+ years of experience in project budget management.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field, along with relevant IT/business experience; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Strong experience with enterprise IT programs, financial management, risk management, governance, and stakeholder management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kaiser Permanente IT or business processes.
• Knowledge of Rules of Flow and/or Theory of Constraints.
• Experience with Strategic Project Leadership (SPL).
• Experience working with enterprise governance bodies.
