Job Overview:
The Principal Program Manager will be responsible for driving execution, governance, and delivery of complex technology initiatives across various domains, including Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Services, Enterprise Architecture, Cyber Security, and Application Development. This role will serve as a key enabler for technology leadership by coordinating large-scale transformation programs, managing cross-functional dependencies, tracking delivery commitments, facilitating executive communications, and ensuring accountability for strategic initiatives. The role will also focus on supporting Secure by Design initiatives, infrastructure modernization, cyber resilience programs, and organizational readiness for emerging AI-enabled technologies and cybersecurity risks. This is an individual contributor role requiring exceptional organizational skills, technical expertise, and the ability to drive execution across highly matrixed organizations without direct authority.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex cross-functional technology programs from initiation through implementation and operationalization.
  • Develop and maintain integrated program plans, roadmaps, milestones, and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate activities across infrastructure engineering, cyber security, architecture, platform operations, cloud engineering, and application development teams.
  • Identify, manage, and resolve program dependencies, risks, issues, and blockers.
  • Establish governance mechanisms to provide transparency into program health, delivery status, and organizational impacts.
  • Drive accountability across multiple teams to ensure commitments are achieved on schedule.
  • Coordinate strategic initiatives involving enterprise infrastructure platforms, cloud services, operating systems, identity services, networking, automation, and observability platforms.
  • Support execution of Secure by Design initiatives, including threat modeling, security scanning, platform hardening, and DevSecOps-related programs.
  • Develop executive-ready communications, status reports, dashboards, and governance materials.
  • Facilitate steering committees, executive reviews, and cross-functional governance forums.

Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience leading large-scale technology programs.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, cloud engineering, enterprise architecture, or enterprise technology organizations.
  • Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional initiatives involving multiple technical disciplines.
  • Experience coordinating work across engineering, cyber security, architecture, operations, and development teams.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise infrastructure platforms, data center operations, Windows and Linux server environments, virtualization technologies, cloud computing platforms, and container orchestration technologies.
  • Familiarity with Secure by Design principles, Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC), threat modeling methodologies, vulnerability management, and DevSecOps practices.
  • PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or equivalent program management certification preferred.
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity transformation initiatives and large-scale infrastructure modernization programs.

Pay Range: $60- $65/hr

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
