    Description

Amazon is building the future of e-commerce for high-consideration, high-value selection - and we need a world-class product leader to define and launch a brand-new shopping experience that will delight millions of customers worldwide. As a Principal Product Manager - Tech on the WW FBA High ASP team, you will own an innovative new product end-to-end, from vision through global launch, transforming how customers discover, evaluate, and purchase critical, high-priced products fulfilled by Amazon. This is a rare opportunity to build something from scratch at massive scale - leveraging AI and machine learning to create a more immersive, compelling, and trustworthy customer experience.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Define the product vision and strategy for a new customer experience that transforms how customers shop for high-value selection on FBA
    • Serve as the worldwide single-threaded leader for this product - setting the bar for what great looks like and rallying cross-functional teams across NA, EU, and emerging marketplaces to deliver
    • Build and defend the business case, using data, customer insights, and experimentation to drive investment decisions
    • Drive technical requirements and own the global roadmap, partnering with engineering, design, and science teams to build a world-class, scalable experience
    • Leverage and build AI/ML-powered tools and capabilities to enhance the customer experience, accelerate experimentation, and drive operational efficiency
    • Design and run experiments to validate hypotheses, measure impact, and iterate rapidly toward product-market fit
    • Present strategy, progress, and results to senior leadership, including Amazon"s S-team, influencing company-wide priorities
    • Partner with stakeholders around the world to align on priorities, remove blockers, and ensure a successful global launch.

About you: You are an entrepreneurial builder who thrives in ambiguity. You combine deep customer empathy with sharp analytical skills and the technical fluency to partner effectively with engineers. You"ve launched 0-to-1 products before and know how to navigate a large organization to get big things done. You communicate with clarity and conviction at every level, from engineers to executives.

    About the team

    About Company

At Amazon, we don’t wait for the next big idea to present itself. We envision the shape of impossible things and then we boldly make them reality. So far, this mindset has helped us achieve some incredible things. Let’s build new systems, challenge the status quo, and design the world we want to live in. We believe the work you do here will be the best work of your life.

Wherever you are in your career exploration, Amazon likely has an opportunity for you. Our research scientists and engineers shape the future of natural language understanding with Alexa. Fulfillment center associates around the globe send customer orders from our warehouses to doorsteps. Product managers set feature requirements, strategy, and marketing messages for brand new customer experiences. And as we grow, we’ll add jobs that haven’t been invented yet.

    It’s Always Day 1
At Amazon, it’s always “Day 1.” Now, what does this mean and why does it matter? It means that our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon’s very first day – to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and stay focused on delighting our customers. In our 2016 shareholder letter, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos shared his thoughts on how to keep up a Day 1 company mindset. “Staying in Day 1 requires you to experiment patiently, accept failures, plant seeds, protect saplings, and double down when you see customer delight,” he wrote. “A customer-obsessed culture best creates the conditions where all of that can happen.” You can read the full letter here

    Our Leadership Principles
Our Leadership Principles help us keep a Day 1 mentality. They aren’t just a pretty inspirational wall hanging. Amazonians use them, every day, whether they’re discussing ideas for new projects, deciding on the best solution for a customer’s problem, or interviewing candidates.
