    Customer Purchase Journey (CPJ) team at Amazon forms the backbone of multiple commerce experiences like Classic Retail, Alexa Shopping, Prime Now, Amazon Fresh to name a few. We own the CX and services that power the discovery and selection of products, services, and delivery options tailored to the customer"s unique location, which then enables them to build their Cart, Checkout, review their order via Thank You Page, and ensure timely post order processing and refunds processing. Our goal is to enable rich and low-latency experiences for the customer throughout their shopping journey.

    We are looking for a Principal Product Manager - Technical, in the CPJ product team. The role will be responsible for working across many high visible product areas, while developing & executing a vision that balances forward looking trends in large scale data processing, machine learning and data science with the immediate needs of customer journey in the eCommerce space.

    Key job responsibilities

    As a Principal Product Manager-Technical in the CPJ Products team, you will lead both front-end and back-end product areas across the purchase journey. Key responsibilities include:

    • Be the voice of the customer - you are in the driver's seat for steering the end-to-end vision across product areas using the working backwards processes and supporting A|B experimentation mechanisms.
    • Define and improve metrics to gain insight into the customer experience and track progress towards goals.
    • Influence tech partners to ensure our architectural decisions align with customer needs.
    • Partner with teams like Delivery Experience, Prime, Fulfillment, Returns and Refunds, Customer Service (and more) to deliver on your roadmap.
    • Collaborate with hundreds of partner teams that innovate across our services, gaining insight into Amazon-wide strategic initiatives and priorities.
