What you'll do...

Position: Principal Product Manager, Pharmacy Technology Modernization and Special Projects 

Job Location: 811 Excellence Dr, Bentonville, AR 72716 

Duties: Define and identify product requirements for pharmacy technology modernization initiatives, translating business, operational, and compliance needs into structured functional specifications for technology teams. Coordinate the transition of pharmacy systems from legacy transaction-based workflows to modular, patient-level data structures by partnering with engineering, data, and clinical stakeholders to ensure accuracy, scalability, and regulatory alignment. Develop and maintain product roadmaps, feature backlogs, and delivery plans across pharmacy technology initiatives, balancing operational constraints, technical dependencies, and customer experience goals. Analyze product performance using data, reporting tools, and user feedback to assess system effectiveness, identify gaps, and inform iterative enhancements and prioritization decisions. Support end to product delivery by facilitating cross functional collaboration, clarifying requirements, and managing dependencies and ensuring solutions meet defined acceptance criteria and business objectives. Conduct customer and workflow analysis including journey mapping and process reviews, to identify improvement opportunities that enhance pharmacy. Operations and patient experiences. Ensure pharmacy technology solutions align with healthcare regulations, internal controls, and data privacy requirements by working closely with compliance, legal and operational partners. Document product decisions, requirements, and outcomes clearly to support consistent execution, knowledge sharing and ongoing system maintenance.  

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Any), or related field plus 2 years of experience in product management or a related field; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Any), or related field plus 4 years of experience in product management or a related field.  

Skills Required: Must have experience with: Evaluative research methodologies such as surveys and competitive analysis to gather qualitative findings and identify innovation opportunities; Applying synthesis techniques (e.g., clustering, matrixes) using tools like Miro to identify patterns, priorities, and insights; Practicing agile development methods such as Scrum and Kanban to continuously improve products; Analyzing quantitative data for decision-making using tools such as Tableau and Google Analytics; Storytelling, user interface and presentation design and tools like Figma to create appealing visual aids and narratives; Writing and maintaining technical documentation, user stories and epics using tools like Jira and Confluence to develop products; APIs and how systems integrate to facilitate cross-functional collaboration; Project management (e.g., scope, OKRs, scheduling) to communicate status and minimize risks; Applying business analysis techniques such as cost-benefit analysis and return on investment calculations to evaluate the financial viability of innovation; Drafting technical and business contracts with vendors, including SOWs and MSAs using tools like DocuSign; Rapid prototyping methods such as storyboarding and diagramming to drive product outcomes; SDLC and product management skills such as roadmaps, acceptance criteria, and backlog management to lead products from ideation to launch. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills. 

 Rate of pay: $110,000.00 - 220,000.00/year
