- Technical Leadership: Act as the primary lead for Broadcom and Client engineers; facilitate architecture review boards and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Design Validation: Oversee HLD/LLD documentation and conduct peer reviews for scalable architectures.
- Enterprise Architecture: Integrate Broadcom solutions (VCF, Tanzu, NSX, vSAN) into the existing IT landscape, developing detailed blueprints and implementation guides.
- PoC Guidance: Design and oversee Proof of Concepts to demonstrate solution benefits.
Technical Requirements
- VCF 9.0 Expertise: Deep familiarity with VCF 9.0, including Networking underlay and Arista interoperation.
- NSX Mastery: Advanced experience with NSX 4.x/9.x (Overlay/Underlay, VPC topologies, BGP, and Load Balancing).
- Training: Completion of official VMware/Broadcom VCF 9.0 enablement or equivalent certification.
- Enterprise Experience: Proven track record with Fortune 100 financial institutions.
-Python/Ansible experience
Preferred Qualifications
- VCDX-NV, VCF Architect, or VCF Administrator certifications.
- Experience with VCF Automation (formerly Aria) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible).
- Familiarity with financial industry security protocols and change management.
Core Competencies for VCF 9.1 Transition
The architect must be familiar with new VCF 9.1 concepts, including:
- Unified Fleet Management: Managing multiple instances without Enhanced Linked Mode.
- Configuration Profiles: Declarative cluster-level configurations.
- VCF Installer: New unified deployment workflows.
