Position Summary: The Product Engineer (Mfg) 5 position provides executive leadership for product engineering across multiple business divisions
or product lines within our global semiconductor company. This position establishes the strategic vision, governance architecture, and operational framework
for comprehensive product excellence that drives manufacturing yield and quality performance. The role requires exceptional leadership skills, strategic
vision, and enterprise perspective to transform product engineering capabilities while navigating complex global manufacturing environments and technology
platforms. The Product Engineer (Mfg) 5 serves as a key advisor to executive leadership on strategic product matters and drives innovation in engineering
approaches to create competitive advantage in the highly complex semiconductor industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Engineering Strategy and Vision (30%): • Establish the strategic vision and direction for product engineering across multiple business
divisions or product lines • Develop comprehensive governance frameworks, performance architectures, and operational models • Create long-range strategic
roadmaps aligned with enterprise priorities and business objectives • Design innovative product engineering solutions that address complex semiconductor
manufacturing requirements and market challenges • Lead transformational initiatives that fundamentally enhance product capabilities and manufacturing excellence
Executive Leadership and Business Partnership (20%): • Serve as strategic advisor to executive leadership teams on product engineering strategies and
manufacturing capabilities • Provide product leadership perspective for critical business decisions and enterprise initiatives • Partner with business unit
leaders to develop product approaches that drive manufacturing performance and competitive advantage • Lead product engineering response to significant
business challenges, technology transitions, and market shifts • Represent product engineering function in executive forums and strategic planning sessions
Global Yield and Performance Excellence (15%): • Design enterprise-wide frameworks for yield management, performance optimization, and quality excellence
programs, and performance benchmarking • Establish methodologies for evaluating product effectiveness and competitive positioning • Drive strategic initiatives
to create optimal yield performance and product quality across global manufacturing operations
New Product and Technology Leadership (15%): • Establish enterprise strategies for new product introduction, technology transfers, and manufacturing
readiness • Lead implementation of transformational approaches for product ramps, yield learning, and volume production • Provide executive guidance on
technology transitions, platform strategies, and product roadmaps • Create frameworks for measuring manufacturing readiness and production capabilities
Product Engineering Transformation and Innovation (10%): • Lead transformation of product engineering function and service delivery models • Drive
implementation of advanced analytical technologies, yield management platforms, and artificial intelligence applications • Design next-generation engineering
approaches to address evolving product complexity • Develop innovative solutions for global product challenges • Establish centers of excellence and capability

Product Leadership and Development (10%): • Lead and develop a substantial product engineering organization across multiple divisions or product lines

Education and Experience:
progressive experience in semiconductor product engineering leadership roles • 5+ years of executive management experience leading engineering organizations
