Desired candidate profile:

  • Minimum required years of experience: Min 5 years (5-7 preferred) years of experience in communications or public relations
  • Education requirements: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field, or any combination of relevant education, experience, and training.

Top must-have skills include the following:

  • Based in Los Angeles, CA with strong knowledge of the city's sports, cultural, media, and creator landscape. (no Long Beach, OC)
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and logistics simultaneously.
  • Experience supporting media relations, event execution, product launches, and creator engagement programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with media, creators, agencies, and cross-functional partners.
  • Passion for sport and enthusiasm for the brand, products, and athlete storytelling.

Nice to have skills:

  • Experience partnering with agencies and navigating the Los Angeles media landscape.

This role is part of the North America Media Relations team based in LA and is responsible for executing communications plans and engaging an ecosystem of media and earned creators in Los Angeles and nationally. Supporting Training, Running, and Sportswear priorities, among others, this individual will help bring stories and experiences to life through seamless program execution, event management, media engagement, and product seeding. The ideal candidate is deeply connected to Los Angeles culture, understands the local media and creator landscape, and has a genuine passion for sport, storytelling, and the brand. They are exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly. Successful candidates bring a positive, team-first mindset, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while navigating ambiguity across

a global matrix organization. Previous experience in communications, public relations, or related fields is required.

What You Bring

  • Min 7 years of experience in communications, public relations, events, marketing, or related functions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field, or any combination of relevant education, experience, and training.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and logistics simultaneously.
  • Experience supporting media relations, event execution, product launches, and creator engagement programs.
