    The Role


    We’re hiring a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to act as the technical backbone of the team.


    You’ll partner closely with engineering leadership to:

    • Provide technical direction + design feedback
    • Own complex mechanical systems (concept production)
    • ‍ Mentor junior + senior engineers
    • Interface with customers on real engineering challenges


    What You’ll Work On

    • ️ Aerospace robotics systems
    • End-effectors / end-of-arm tooling
    • Tooling + fixturing
    • ️ Automation hardware (actuators, motion systems, assemblies)
    • Design reviews, problem-solving, system optimization


    What You Need

    • 10+ years in mechanical engineering
    • Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
    • ️ 6+ years in aerospace automation
    • 6+ years in aerospace tooling/fixturing
    • Strong CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
    • Deep GD&T + DFM/DFA expertise
    • Robotics/automation system experience
    • Must be able to get clearance


    Big Plus

    • End-effector design experience
    • FEA / simulation
    • CATIA or PDM systems
    • BOM creation + production documentation
    • Startup / build-mode experience
