Cvent's CRM Systems team is hiring a Business Analyst to own the full requirements lifecycle for our Salesforce CRM platform, from intake and discovery through requirements documentation, solution validation, testing, and delivery. This role sits at the center of a fast moving, matrixed organization, partnering directly with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance stakeholders to translate business needs into clear, testable requirements, and working side by side with our Development team to validate solutions before they are built.

The ideal candidate brings a structured, standards driven approach to how CRM requirements are gathered, documented, tested, and delivered, and is comfortable operating in a high growth SaaS environment undergoing significant platform investment. This includes exposure to large scale CRM transformation initiatives, AI enabled documentation and delivery tooling, and cross system data architecture spanning Salesforce, integration platforms, and data governance. This is an opportunity to help shape how a CRM Systems team operates as it scales.

In This Role, You Will::

Core Responsibilities

Shared across both levels:

  • Own the intake, triage, and prioritization of incoming business requests, assessing scope and complexity to determine the appropriate delivery pathway
  • Lead discovery sessions with business stakeholders to document current state processes and define future state requirements
  • Author clear, testable requirements and user stories, including acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and dependencies
  • Partner with technical leads and architects to validate proposed solutions prior to formal business sign off
  • Develop and own User Acceptance Testing scripts and test data, supporting quality assurance efforts
  • Uphold data governance and quality standards, ensuring new data elements are justified and aligned to enterprise standards
  • Facilitate solution demonstrations throughout the development lifecycle to maintain stakeholder alignment
  • Maintain accurate, real time status across project tracking tools, proactively identifying and escalating risks
  • Demonstrate strong command of the full business analysis lifecycle, from requirements gathering through delivery

Principal Business Analyst — Elevated Scope

  • Establish and evolve business analysis practices and standards across the team
  • Mentor and develop Lead Business Analysts and broader team members
  • Own the most complex, cross functional, and highest impact initiatives, including large scale transformation programs
  • Serve as a key liaison to executive leadership, translating complex initiatives into clear, decision ready communication
  • Lead cross functional governance discussions involving multiple systems, teams, and stakeholders

Experience by Level

  • Lead Business Analyst: 5 to 7 years
  • Principal Business Analyst: 8 to 10+ years
Here's What You Need::

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst supporting CRM/Salesforce implementations, at the level noted above
  • Demonstrated experience across multiple full cycle Salesforce implementations or large scale enhancement initiatives
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Hands on proficiency with Salesforce and standard project tracking/collaboration tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional Salesforce certifications (Advanced Administrator, Business Analyst), CBAP, or Scrum/Agile certification
  • Experience on a large scale CRM transformation program
  • Consulting background (Big 4 or similar), with direct client facing delivery experience

The estimated base salary range for new hires into this role is $120,000 - $170,000 annually + bonus depending on factors such as job-related knowledge, relevant experience, and location. We also offer a competitive benefits package, details of which can be found here.
