The role owns the end-to-end architecture of the initiative: the target state, the integration and data architecture that connects the ERP core to warehouse, transportation, labeling, plant, master data and finance systems, and the current-state architecture of every release and wave. It is the architecture voice in the program's steering and design forums and the counterpart to the system integrators. The role is hands-on: it keeps the architecture current, reviews designs, settles cross-workstream conflicts and produces the roadmap options leadership decides on.
