Principal Deployment & Production Reliability Architect

The candidate will design and manage secure deployment pipelines, implement progressive delivery strategies, and ensure reliable production deployments across cloud environments. Seeking a Principal Deployment & Production Reliability Architect with strong experience in DevSecOps, CI/CD pipeline development, Kubernetes administration, and production reliability.

Job Summary:
Seeking a Principal Deployment & Production Reliability Architect with strong experience in DevSecOps, CI/CD pipeline development, Kubernetes administration, and production reliability. The candidate will design and manage secure deployment pipelines, implement progressive delivery strategies, and ensure reliable production deployments across cloud environments.
Required Skills:

• Experience implementing DevSecOps controls within CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Harness CD and CI/CD pipeline development.
• Strong Kubernetes administration, deployment, and production cluster management skills.
• Experience building deployment pipelines using Harness and Harness Continuous Verification (CV).
• Expertise in deployment strategies, including:
  • Canary deployments
  • Blue-Green deployments
  • Progressive delivery
  • Traffic splitting
• Understanding of Argo Rollouts, including:
  • Rollouts, Analysis Templates, and Analysis Runs
  • Experiments
  • Automated promotion and rollback
  • Deployment health validation
• Experience with Helm charts, Deployments, Services, Ingress, and CronJobs.
• Experience implementing automated rollback and deployment verification.
• Hands-on experience with Docker containerization.
• Experience with GitOps-based deployment processes.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes security.
• Experience with secrets management, RBAC, and access controls.
• Knowledge of container security and vulnerability management.
• Experience integrating security gates into deployment pipelines.
• Understanding of cloud networking, load balancing, and ingress.

Preferred Skills:

• AWS/EKS platform experience.
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Service mesh technologies such as Istio and Linkerd.
• Prometheus and Grafana integration for deployment validation.
• Compliance and security governance frameworks.
