Position Summary
SRG Government Services is supporting a defense logistics organization seeking a Principal CPI Analyst IV to serve as the analytical center of a complex Government logistics support effort. This role will own an enterprise-level metrics scorecard, validate and brief recurring supply chain performance analysis, and lead Lean Six Sigma continuous process improvement across a secondary reparable supply chain environment.

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience extracting data from Government logistics systems, performing statistical analysis, forecasting supply chain trends, mapping value streams, and developing courses of action and plans of action and milestones that improve logistics performance and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous process improvement across a government logistics support environment.
  • Facilitate working group meetings, brief enterprise metrics and supporting analysis, capture action items, and maintain related plans of action and milestones.
  • Develop, maintain, update, validate, and archive recurring enterprise metrics scorecard materials.
  • Build and maintain tools that extract data from Government systems to improve visibility into key performance metrics.
  • Collect metrics data, perform calculations, develop statistical summaries, and conduct trend analysis across supply chain performance areas.
  • Use statistical tools, including design of experiments, hypothesis testing, correlation, regression, and forecasting, to test hypotheses and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct root-cause investigations and value stream mapping to develop recommended courses of action.
  • Develop, refine, standardize, and execute processes that improve metrics data integrity.
  • Collaborate with Government stakeholders to refine metrics, establish target ranges, respond to data calls, and support policy/process changes.
  • Conduct site visits in support of CPI initiatives and maintain stakeholder communication throughout process evaluation.
  • Provide project and change management support to the Government customer.

Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, logistics management, statistics, or similar discipline.
  • Valid, current Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification held continuously for at least five consecutive years.
  • 10-12 years of experience leading process improvement efforts across a broad range of logistics assignments.
  • 5-6 years of process improvement experience supporting military wholesale and retail logistics activities in reparable support.
  • 5-6 years of experience using statistical methods and models to optimize supply chain process effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; active Secret clearance is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to obtain a Common Access Card and favorable background investigation before working in Government systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief metrics, trends, risks, and recommendations to senior Government stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Active, in-scope Secret clearance.
  • Hands-on experience with Marine Corps or DoD logistics systems and accountable property/supply chain data environments.
  • Experience with enterprise reporting tools, including Oracle OBIEE or similar reporting platforms.
  • Experience with MDR, FEDLOG, L-DART, Navy ERP, Catalyst, or related Government logistics systems.
  • Experience owning a recurring enterprise-level metrics product briefed to senior Government leadership.
  • Working knowledge of inventory and allowance re-computation, reparable exchange management, and induction/disposition business rules.
  • Experience developing process improvement recommendations that result in measurable supply chain performance improvements.

Working Conditions
  • Work is performed on-site at a government installation in Albany, GA.
  • Standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, 0800-1630 local, excluding Federal holidays.
  • Travel may be required for site visits and process improvement initiatives, including CONUS and OCONUS locations.
  • Employment is contingent on contract award, installation access, required background investigation, and any required clearance approvals.
  • Key personnel substitution restrictions may apply during initial contract performance.
