Job Description

  • Lead the development and execution of automation and controls strategies across manufacturing operations.
  • Design, implement, and optimize controls systems, automation architectures, and equipment integration solutions.
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and manufacturing teams to improve process efficiency, throughput, and reliability.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through automation and advanced control technologies.
  • Troubleshoot complex controls and automation issues, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
  • Develop standards and best practices for controls engineering and automation across the organization.
  • Support equipment commissioning, validation, and startup activities for new manufacturing processes and systems.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and automation platforms to support future growth and scalability.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 8+ years of controls and automation engineering experience.
  • Strong experience within a manufacturing environment; industry background is flexible.
  • Demonstrated expertise in automation systems, controls architecture, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Proven ability to lead complex automation projects from concept through implementation.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering and operations teams.
