- Lead the development and execution of automation and controls strategies across manufacturing operations.
- Design, implement, and optimize controls systems, automation architectures, and equipment integration solutions.
- Partner with engineering, operations, and manufacturing teams to improve process efficiency, throughput, and reliability.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through automation and advanced control technologies.
- Troubleshoot complex controls and automation issues, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
- Develop standards and best practices for controls engineering and automation across the organization.
- Support equipment commissioning, validation, and startup activities for new manufacturing processes and systems.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and automation platforms to support future growth and scalability.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 8+ years of controls and automation engineering experience.
- Strong experience within a manufacturing environment; industry background is flexible.
- Demonstrated expertise in automation systems, controls architecture, and process improvement initiatives.
- Proven ability to lead complex automation projects from concept through implementation.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering and operations teams.
