    Principal Consultant (PCON) SAP S/4HANA Asset Accounting Lead

    Role Overview

    We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Asset Accounting expert to provide consulting leadership for the design, configuration, and migration of a large-scale asset landscape into SAP S/4HANA. The candidate will work with business and finance stakeholders to define the future-state asset accounting model for complex infrastructure assets, including datacenter and technology assets, while ensuring compliance, scalability, and operational efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities
    Lead workshops with Finance, Controlling, Fixed Assets, and business stakeholders to understand current asset management processes.
    Define SAP S/4HANA Asset Accounting solution architecture and configuration approach.
    Design asset structures, asset classes, depreciation areas, capitalization policies, and accounting treatments.
    Advise on treatment of complex infrastructure assets, including high-volume technology and datacenter assets.
    Lead conversion and migration strategy from legacy systems into SAP S/4HANA Asset Accounting.
    Define data cleansing, reconciliation, validation, and cutover approaches.
    Partner with Finance, Tax, Audit, and Compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence.
    Support integration design with:
    General Ledger (GL)
    Accounts Payable (AP)
    Project Systems (PS)
    Investment Management (IM)
    Controlling (CO)
    Procurement processes
    Provide guidance on fixed asset lifecycle processes:
    Acquisition
    Capitalization
    Transfers
    Retirement
    Depreciation
    Asset under Construction (AUC)
    Mentor client and implementation teams on SAP Asset Accounting best practices.
    Support testing, business validation, hypercare, and stabilization activities.

    Required Experience
    Multiple end-to-end SAP implementation or transformation programs.
    Deep expertise in:
    SAP S/4HANA Asset Accounting
    Universal Journal
    New Asset Accounting
    Parallel valuation concepts
    Depreciation configuration
    Asset migrations and reconciliations
    Experience handling large and complex asset bases.
    Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills.
    Ability to engage directly with Finance leadership and enterprise architects.
