The Opportunity
We are pursuing qualified candidates to fill Principal Analyst, CEO positions within the Chief Executive Office. The position assists the Chief Executive Office to manage the Countys administrative, financial affairs, and/or policy priorities under the general direction of a Manager, CEO.

Requirements to Qualify
Three (3) years of experience analyzing and making recommendations for the solution of problems in areas such as budget, finance, operations, policy implementation, classification, compensation, capital projects, legislative policy, organization and management, employee relations, risk management, marketing, or asset management at the level of Los Angeles County class of Senior Analyst, CEO* or higher.

Physical Expectations

Part 1: Multiple-choice and/or simulation assessment(s), weighted 75%, assessing:
Applicants must achieve a passing score of 70% or higher in Part 1 in order to proceed to Part 2 - Writing Assessment.
Part 2: A Writing Assessment, weighted 25%, assessing English Structure and Content, Written Expression, and Prioritizing Information.
Applicants must meet the Requirements to Qualify and achieve a passing score of 70% or higher on each weighted part of the exam in order to be placed on the eligible list.
Exam Review
Some exam components are not subject to review by candidates. Multiple-choice and/or simulation assessments are not reviewable by candidates per Civil Service Rule 7.19.

Eligibility and Vacancy Information
Applicants who passed all assessment(s) will be placed on the eligible list in the order of their score group for a period of six (6) months. We will use this list to fill vacancies within the Chief Executive Office's as they occur.
