    Description

    The DevSecOps Architect will play a critical role in advancing the organization's AI and digital engineering strategy by defining and implementing a modern, integrated DevSecOps architecture. This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic thinking to modernize tooling, streamline workflows, and establish scalable, secure, and efficient engineering practices aligned with enterprise standards.

    Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

    Must Have:

    • 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps architecture, modern development platforms, and cloud‑native engineering practices.
    • 5+ years of experience hands‑on experience with CI/CD, automation frameworks, and next‑gen tooling such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, or similar ecosystems.
    • Proven ability to define architectural strategies and lead large-scale modernization efforts.
    • Experience establishing governance, security controls, and enterprise standards across engineering teams.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Define the end‑to‑end DevSecOps architecture vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business priorities and AI‑driven initiatives.
    • Drive modernization of the software engineering ecosystem by transitioning from legacy, fragmented tools to cohesive, cloud‑aligned, next‑generation platforms such as GitHub.
    • Establish and maintain enterprise standards, best practices, and governance models to ensure consistency, security, compliance, and efficiency across engineering tools and processes.
    • Design scalable, automated CI/CD pipelines that enhance developer productivity, reduce cycle times, and support secure, high‑velocity delivery.
    • Provide technical leadership to resolve the existing tooling and workflow backlog through sustainable, architecture‑led solutions rather than reactive support.
    • Partner closely with engineering, IT, cybersecurity, and platform teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment across the DevSecOps ecosystem.
    • Evaluate emerging technologies and AI‑enabled capabilities to ensure the organization maintains a modern, future‑ready engineering environment.

    Our History

    The first autopilot in 1914, Charles Lindbergh’s first successful solo flight across the Atlantic in 1927, Amelia Earhart’s landmark flight in 1932, and the world’s first sonic boom in 1947, were all made possible because of aviation technology developed by Honeywell and its legacy companies.

Sperry brought computer technology to the cockpit with electronic flight instrument systems, flight management systems and other digital technology, and Bendix introduced the first commercial weather radar system.Today, Honeywell Aerospace continues to innovate in the frontier of flight safety with traffic alert and collision avoidance technologies, the AlliedSignal Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System, and systems that help pilots avoid severe weather and hazards such as lightning and wind shear.
