Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Acquisition Program Manager SME providing support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Aerial Networks Division (AFLCMC/HNA). This position will support the Tactical Data Networks Enterprise Program.
As the Acquisition Program Manager, you will need to posses the advanced knowledge, experience and recognized ability to be considered an expert in their technical/professional field and possess the ability to perform tasks and oversee the efforts of junior and mid-level personnel within the technical/professional discipline.
This is a full-time position located in Bedford, MA at Hanscom AFB.
Responsibilities:Duties include, but not limited to:
Investigates, analyzes, plans, evaluates, drafts and/or recommends solutions for project/program efforts
Provides expert level issue resolution and recommendation support to achieve desired program outcomes
Applies broad knowledge of organizational missions and programs, such as acquisition management and modernization planning
Applies knowledge of and expertise with acquisition management, program management, budget/finance principles and methodologies, modernization planning, and the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Executing (PPBE) process
Review initial and revised acquisition documents and provide the enterprise level perspective to ensure consistency and accuracy
Provide comments on acquisition documentation that add value from an enterprise perspective and facilitate an integrated, system-of-systems approach across the division
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain an active Top Secret clearance
Education: Master’s degree
Years’ experience: 15 years of general work experience, 10 years of which must be in acquisition program management
