    Your Contribution

    At Newmont, you will lead governance, finance systems, and process optimization activities supporting the Global Controller function. You will drive finance transformation initiatives, strengthen governance over financial systems and data, support global system integrations, and ensure effective service delivery across finance operations while enabling standardization, compliance, and continuous improvement.

    As Part of Our Team, You Will

    • Lead governance and finance systems initiatives supporting the Global Controller function.
    • Drive optimization, automation, and continuous improvement of global finance systems, including payroll systems, and accounting processes.
    • Support accounting and payroll system integration, implementation, enhancement, and transformation projects across ERP and related finance platforms.
    • Partner with Digital Technology, Operations, Process Excellence, and Finance stakeholders to align system capabilities with business needs.
    • Establish and oversee governance processes for finance systems, reporting structures, and financial data.
    • Drive compliance with financial processes, controls, and governance requirements, including BlackLine and AFC standards.
    • Serve as the primary liaison between retained Finance teams, People Services, and the Global Delivery Center (GDC).
    • Oversee issue escalation, resolution tracking, root cause analysis, and service delivery improvements.
    • Monitor service performance metrics, KPIs, SLAs, and quality standards to identify improvement opportunities.
    • Support system-related SOX controls and ensure alignment between finance operations and technology initiatives.

    Prerequisites for This Role

    • Bachelor''s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
    • CPA, MBA, and/or advanced degree preferred.
    • Extensive experience supporting finance systems, accounting operations, and financial governance.
    • Strong knowledge of global ERP environments and financial reporting processes.
    • Experience working with SAP-BPC applications.
    • Demonstrated project and program management experience.
    • Understanding of procurement, asset management, payroll, project accounting, and financial reporting processes.
    • Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and process improvement capabilities.
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
    • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

    The salary range offered for this role is USD $. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.     This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company's performance and their own individual performance. This role also will be eligible for participation in a discretionary long-term incentive program, pursuant to which an employee may receive awards based on their level and individual performance.
