    The Opportunity
    Greater Boston Addiction Center is seeking a Primary Therapist to join its Clinical team. This is a full-time, onsite role with a days schedule, supporting individual and group therapy across outpatient, PHP, and IOP levels of care.
    What You'll Do
    • Provide individual and group therapy in an outpatient, PHP, or IOP setting
    • Complete thorough clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
    • Facilitate structured and engaging group therapy sessions across levels of care
    • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) system
    • Ensure compliance with confidentiality regulations and HIPAA standards
    • Manage crisis situations and de-escalation to ensure patient safety
    • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team, including coordination with families and external providers
    • Support relapse prevention strategies and recovery-oriented care planning
    • Manage an assigned caseload with strong organization and follow-through


    Requirements

    What You Bring
    • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
    • Licensure preferred: LADC, LMHC, LCSW, or LICSW
    • Knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches, including CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing
    • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, including experience with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
    • Understanding of regulatory and compliance standards (DPH, BSAS, Joint Commission preferred)
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and rapport-building skills with diverse patient populations
    • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple cases
    • Cultural competency and ability to work with individuals from varied backgrounds
    • Flexibility and a team-oriented mindset in a fast-paced clinical environment
    Preferred
    • EMDR certification preferred

    Benefits

    Compensation and Schedule

    Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 annually
    Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite | Days
    Benefit: Paid Time Off, Medical Insurance Stipend
