Job Description
Turnbridge is a dual-licensed outpatient psychiatric and substance use treatment facility located in New Haven, CT. Centered on evidence-based practices, Turnbridge is recruiting for fully licensed Primary Clinicians with interest in treating young adults (18 to 25 years old) with co-occurring disorders.
Individual, Group, and Family Therapy
Leading group therapy sessions to provide a supportive environment for clients to work on their challenges, develop coping skills, and build social support.
Utilizing evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients address specific mental health concerns like depression, anxiety, trauma, or substance use disorders.
Emphasis on interdisciplinary team work
Develop individualized treatment plans that address the client's specific needs and goals, utilizing evidence-based therapies and interventions.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of client sessions, assessments, treatment plans, and progress, adhering to ethical guidelines and legal requirements.
Work effectively with other professionals and staff within the treatment setting to ensure efficient and collaborative care.
REQUIREMENTS
Eligibility for this position requires a master’s degree from an accredited graduate program in a behavioral health-related field. This includes graduate degrees in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
CT licensure must in good standing as an LMFT or LMFT-A.
